FORT MILL, SC, May 10, 2023 – Compucom, a leading managed IT services and technology provider which recently ranked #6 of the top 100 IT solutions providers in Canada by IT World Canada, a leading print and digital IT industry publisher, opened a first-of-its-kind IT service desk for Canada’s largest mental health hospital.
A recent example of Compucom advancing the digital workplace experience in Canada was opening a walk-up IT service desk for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). CAMH is Canada’s largest mental health hospital and one of the world’s leading research facilities in its field so ensuring technology was working when the employee needed it the most was a priority.

The walk-up service desk, staffed by Compucom certified technicians, provides CAMH staff of doctors, nurses and administrators with on-demand technology support, including troubleshooting, repair, and software installations.
“We are proud and honored to play a small part in the critically important support that CAMH provides to Canadians and the contributions they make to healthcare research globally,” said Christine Evitt, vice president and general manager of Compucom Canada.
“Compucom has been a superior service provider and equally important a trusted partner.”
Damian Jankowicz, CAMH’s CIO
“The partnership between CAMH and Compucom reflects a long-term, shared commitment to providing quality service to our customers,” Evitt said. “By providing full lifecycle end-user computing services, including enhanced on-site technology support, service desk, automation and tools, Compucom delivers optimal support for clinicians, staff, patients and visitors.”
Compucom, headquartered in the United States, has been servicing customers in Canada for more than 15 years and has facilities in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Markham with customers across the country.
